I'm so excited! I've discovered that I can put my hand made items on Etsy, and they sell them for me. It's already high ranking in the search engines, it's easy to use, and not expensive at all. So now I have more time with my children, and less time trying to get visitors to my site. Doesn't that just sound great?
Being a mother, it seems I don't have a moment to spare through the day, so when I found Etsy so easy to use, I was delighted. I can list 3 or 4 items in the time it takes me to edit and upload the pictures for one item on my own site. That means I can get more done faster. Anything that saves time is a welcome break for me.
Now don't get the impression that I'm abandoning the quiltingbeefamily.com website. No way! Etsy only allows me to sell things I've made myself. So for the rest of the family's creations, I need my own web store. Feel free to visit either of the sites. Selling things online has been a great way for me to be at home with my children and still help with the household expenses. And let me tell you, it's not headache free, but it's worth it once you get it figured out.
